Gained over 35 years experience in the construction industry in the fields of project management and construction cost control, primarily representing Clients in the procurement of small, medium and large building projects.

Worked, trained and qualified in Quantity Surveying and Project Management in South Wales before moving to London, for seven years, working for two City Centre consultancy practices.  Relocated back to South Wales in 2006.  In May 2011, formed Focus Construction Consultancy Ltd.

Whilst working for one of the London Consultancy’s was Employer’s Agent and Quantity Surveyor on the only Residential Scheme ever to be awarded the Stirling Prize for Architecture (Accordia Project in Cambridge).

Extensive experience of private and public residential schemes including general needs houses and apartments, Care Homes, ExtraCare Schemes and Student Accommodation.

Has also gained experience in most construction sectors including Primary Health Care, offices, industrial, hotel, defence and retail projects.

Provided Bank/Funder Monitoring Services on a variety of schemes in South Wales, North Wales, London and the South West.
